EDU - 402.1 - School Internship Phase II

Week 3 (24/06/24 - 28/06/24) When one teaches two learn              - Robert Heinlein There were 5 working days. I completed the chapter 'Refraction' in class 9A. I started the lesson 'Equations of motion' in 9A. I used videos to teach the concepts so that students get a clear picture of the concept rather by reading the topic. In class 8A I finished the chapter 'Properties of matter'. Without videos it would have been difficult for the students to understand the topics especially the separation methods like centrifugation, chromatography etc.  On 28/06/24 the school organized Merit Day. Passed out class 10 students were facilitated for their class 10 academic achievements. We along with TTC students were asked to manage the 5,6,7,8 classes. I interacted with students by organizing some games that improve one's concentration. Students enjoyed really well. Activities

Week 2 (18/06/24 - 22/06/24) Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning                                                       - Unknown There were 5 working days in total. I taught 'Total Internal Reflection' in class 9A using phet simulations and videos. 'Diffusion' was taught in class 8A through videos. Students were attentive. Through videos concepts were conveyed more clearly rather than through pictures. On 19-06-2024 our school observed National Reading Day. Writer Rajani Aatmaja who was also a teacher was the chief guest. She pointed out that the current generation was more involved in digital devices and they are forgetting reading habits.
